What Areas Do You Service?
We have customers from all over Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Australia wide. We have also photographed internationally. Why not have a look at our portrait work?
How long does the session take?
The average session will last between 1-2 hours depending on the location as well as the number of people. Newborn sessions can run longer due to feeding, nappy changes and other necessary breaks.
Where does the session take place?
Frances loves to use natural light. Our Coorparoo studio has a stunning outdoor area with lots of different backgrounds that are great for both young and old. Children are generally more relaxed outdoors and the quality of natural light creates beautiful images. Local parks, beaches and homes can also make great locations. Frances will usually suggest some locations that make wonderful settings. We also have an indoor studio that creates a completely different look.
What should we wear?
This is discussed during the planning of the photo shoot. You want to look back on this photograph and remember your favourite outfit, but be cautious, bold patterns can overwhelm the image.
Where and when is best to photograph my Newborn?
Sessions are mainly take place at our studio. The best time to truly capture a newborn is when the baby is less than two weeks of age. It is a good idea to contact us before your baby is born we can secure an appointment.
Do you use props?
Props are kept to a minimum. However, feel free to bring along a special item that you want to include in your portrait session.
Are you a member of AIPP?
Yes, Frances is an accredited member and master of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP).
Photographer’s tip:
