During our Brisbane Night Photography Workshop, you will learn to select the correct camera settings for long exposure/night photography by using your camera in manual mode and mastering your exposure and composition creatively.

Worried about finding the right spots or venturing out on your own? Join our small group setting (max 6 people) learn fun and exciting new tricks and at the same time make some new friends.

Frances and her team will guide you from your booking to the conclusion of the workshop, offering a unique learning opportunity for beginner-level photographers through to more experienced shooters.

You’re also guaranteed personalized feedback and assistance from Frances to ensure you end the evening feeling confident with your new skills.

What to bring:

  • DSLR Camera
  • Fully charged battery and a spare battery
  • Any lens you have (Wide angle lens is very useful)
  • Remote or cable
  • Tripod
  • Torch or Headlamp
  • Best to wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing

  • Over 20 years of experience photographing Landscapes and People internationally and locally
  • Frances brings a depth of experience and international flavour to her boutique photography experience.
  • Frances’ expertise in Landscape & Portrait photography led her to teach at a Brisbane photography college for a number of years. She has also conducted a number of photography workshops and has attracted international attention resulting in a photographic magazine editorial.

Brisbane Night Lights Workshop | FAQs

During the workshop, you will learn about Shutter Speed, Apertures and ISO and how to work those 3 together to create stunning photographs.

You will learn to use your camera in manual mode and further information about exposure and composition.

Yes, you will be required to bring your own camera and equipment.

Absolutely, all you have to do is purchase a ticket and email us at info@francessuter.com.au to confirm their details.

Children under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. All workshop attendees will require their own tickets.

As much as we love dogs, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home for the safety and comfort of all participants.

It will also be much easier for you to focus throughout the workshop without your pet.
